A recon ship named the “ABYSS” is trapped drifting through space after its engines abruptly shut down. Laura, a young mechanic, finds herself alone trying to fix the ship after her crew is mysteriously killed. With the help of a artificial intelligence called S.O.F.I. she must reignite the engines before they are sucked into a black hole, but everything is not as it seems as they both discover the fault is not with the ship…
